For sale is an Australian black Andamooka boulder opal pendant in 925.  This opal was mined in the Andamooka opal fields in South Australia.  The opal has black matrix (or boulder) that flashes with opalescent fire in a true rainbow spectrum of colors.  This type of opal appears quite subtle in dim light, with just a hint of fire.  It really comes to life in sunlight or bright indoor light, with shimmering, colorful fire that changes as you move it in the light.  The opal is a large domed oval.  It is bezel-set, and framed in silver with a Balinese style.  The opal is visible from the back of the pendant.  The pendant has an articulated bail to accommodate your chain.  This is a lovely, colorful opal that will delight the opal lover.  If you have only ever owned an old-fashioned white opal, this opal will open your eyes to a whole new world of beauty!
