For sale is an Alaskan Gold-in-Quartz ring in silver.  Gold-in-Quartz, also known as Gold Quartz or Gold bearing quartz is a rare and sought-after gemstone for jewelry makers today.  It consists of white (or gray or black) quartz with veins of pure gold ore running through it.  The most valuable gems are those with white or cream quartz and lots of gold veins.  This quartz is a creamy shade of white with bright burnished 24k gold veins covering 40-50% of the surface.  This gold-quartz is unusual in my experience, because the 24k gold veins stand slightly higher than the surface of the gemstone.  You can feel the gold veins with your finger as you run it along the surface of the stone!  The quartz is a large domed oval, and is secure in a hand-crafted silver crown/bezel setting.  The ring is completely backed in silver, and framed with silver in a squash blossom or flower design.  The ring could be worn beautifully by either a man or a woman.  

This large, well-crafted gold-in-quartz ring is not only beautiful, but is actually a wise investment that will only increase in value over time.
