For sale is a 9k gold lion pendant. This wonderful and unusual lion fob is a beautifully sculpted piece of antique gold, solid throughout and full of presence. Originally made as a watch fob, it now wears beautifully as a pendant, with a satisfying weight and a sense of quiet authority.

The lion stands proudly atop a rectangular platform that is gently domed and richly detailed. The base is patterned like a textured rug, complete with a deeply scalloped edge that adds visual rhythm and old-world charm. Above it, the lion is rendered with a powerful torso and legs, a curly, expressive mane, and a confident, upright posture that feels both regal and watchful.

The piece is stamped 9k ("375"). We can't test specifically for 9k with our US testing kit (9k is typically used in Europe, not the US). We did, however, test it for 10k with our US acid kit, and it tested as 10k, which gives us confidence in the 9k metal stamp.

Finished with a jump-ring bail, this solid gold lion fob makes a striking pendant — a rare and character-filled piece that speaks to strength, pride, and enduring craftsmanship.
