For sale is a 9k - 10k yellow gold cross pendant set with a natural blue star sapphire. This antique pendant is a true classic. The square cross has a vibrant medium blue sapphire bezel set at the center. The color is slightly deeper than ceylon blue. The sapphire displays a lovely six-rayed star in bright light or sunlight.
The stone has natural inclusions that are visible with a loupe. Each arm of the cross is decorated with gold beads, one at the end and one on top. The pendant has a jump ring bail to accommodate your chain. Despite its small size, this unusual pendant really glows, catching every eye when you wear it.

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
**The gold is stamped "375" which is 9k gold, the standard gold content of British and Australian jewelry. However, I can't test for 9k, but the pendant tests positive for 10k gold using an acid test. So I identify the pendant as "9k - 10k gold". I apologize for any confusion this causes!
