For sale is a 9K -10k yellow rose gold pendant with an Australian lab black opal triplet.  This antique pendant features a large opal that is backed in onyx and topped with a layer of clear quartz to protect the delicate opal.  This opal is exceptionally full of colorful fire.  It has lots of cherry red, lime, tangerine, peacock blue and purple.  *I listed this as a synthetic opal because the colors of the fire are slightly more "regular" and symmetric than what you usually find in a natural, earth-created opal.*  The opal is secure in a lovely bezel setting and backed fully in gold.  The opal is framed in gold edged in milgrain with a twisted rope halo surrounding it.  The gold has a rose-y hue that is flattering to many skin-tones.  The pendant has an articulated bail to accommodate your chain. This pendant is full of colorful fire and movement.  You will be charmed by the old-world quality and attention to detail in each aspect of this pendant.

***I list this piece as 9k - 10k because although 9 carat is standard in Europe, it is not common in the US.  The pendant tests for 10k, so I list it both ways.
