For sale is a widows mite pendant with an 18k yellow gold frame.  This tiny coin is an authentic coin believed to be the Biblical "mite" from Luke 21:1-4.   The pendant symbolizes the beauty and importance of kindness and generosity even in the depths of poverty and need.  What an important message in this world of ours!  

"And He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury,  and He saw also a certain poor widow putting in two mites. So He said, “Truly I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all;  for all these out of their abundance have put in offerings for God, but she out of her poverty put in all the livelihood that she had.”  

The coin is beautifully depicted on both sides, with lovely patina as the original might have had.  The coin is bezel set in 18k gold with a little attached bail.   The pendant does not come with a chain.
