For sale is a rare and wonderful antique 18k yellow-rose gold Paris Opera pendant.

The pendant is fashioned as a large, flat round medallion with a beautifully detailed lyre or harp at its center. The instrument is surrounded by two concentric rows of delicate openwork rays, creating an almost sunburst-like design that gives the pendant wonderful visual texture.

Around the outer edge, the gold is engraved “OPERA DE PARIS,” identifying its wonderful Parisian theme. But our favorite detail is at the top: a tiny, dimensional representation of the magnificent Paris Opera building, rendered in raised gold with remarkable architectural detail.
