18k Gold Carved Nude Fertility Goddess Sculptural Pendant. 1.8"

For sale is an 18k yellow gold pendant with a carved amethyst fertility goddess figure.  The ancient hand-carved figure is a tiny masterpiece.  The figure, a female nude, is carved from an opaque amethyst gemstone.  The amethyst has a pinkish lavender color.  The woman's face and body are beautifully carved in great detail.  Her facial features are lovely and can be clearly seen despite the wear to this ancient piece.  She has long hair that frames her face.  Her supple, rounded arms, legs and torso are beautifully carved.   She is posed standing upright with her arms crossed over her chest.  The pendant is very old, and the amethyst shows signs of age.  The carving is missing the left foot.  The woman's body is firmly held by 18k yellow gold wire.  The pendant has an attached bail to accommodate your chain.  This is an unusual, large and beautifully crafted pendant.  It could be worn beautifully by a man or a woman.

**The amethyst shows quite a bit of wear, including scuffing and scrapes.  The carving is missing the left foot.
