For sale is an 18k yellow gold pendant with Alaskan Gold-in-Quartz and a diamond accent.  Gold-in-Quartz, also known as Gold Quartz or Gold bearing quartz is a rare and sought-after gemstone for jewelry makers today.  It consists of white (or gray or black) quartz with veins of pure gold ore running through it.  The most valuable gems are those with white or cream quartz and lots of gold veins.  This quartz is a creamy shade of white with bright burnished 24k gold veins covering 30-35% of the surface. The quartz is a large slightly domed oval, and is secure in a hand-crafted bezel setting.  The quartz is visible from the back of the pendant.  The pendant has a triangular bail edged in delicate milgrain. A tiny sparkly diamond is set in the center of the triangle.  This pendant is classic, elegant and beautifully crafted to last many lifetimes.  It can be combined beautifully with diamond and pearl jewelry.
