18k Gold Hindu LAKSHMI Prosperity Goddess Pendant w Ruby

For sale is a 18k yellow gold intaglio  pendant with the image of the Hindu goddess Lakshmi, goddess of wealth, prosperity, and good fortune. The goddess is shown in her traditional pose, with two peacocks perched beside her. 

This beautifully crafted pendant features the goddess as she dances with her peacocks looking on. The pendant is skillfully carved with details of the face and figure of the goddess, as well as the elegant peacocks on her left and right.

The pendant is slightly puffy, with a double row of Bali beads along the bottom edge, and a small cabochon ruby framed in milgrain set at the top. The ruby is opaque with a rich cherry pink color. The pendant has a hidden bail to accommodate your chain. This antique piece truly stands out for its beauty and quality.
