For sale is an 18k yellow gold pendant. Georg Jensen (1866-1935) is possibly the most significant designer of the famous Danish school of modern jewelry. Like all of Jensen's pieces, this Torun pendant is sleek and elegant, with a sculptural quality that fascinates the eye. The pendant is a large open circle or "torus". Unlike a classic circle, this pendant twists as it curves, creating an undulating Moebius strip.
The piece is solid 18k gold, and is quite heavy at 10 grams. It is also large at over one inch, and makes a large statement. It can be worn at the neckline or you can wear it on a longer chain as a medallion. This pendant is retired and no longer available on the Georg Jensens website.
