14k Yellow Rose + White Gold Antique Crane Water Bird Pendant. 1.25"

For sale is a 14k yellow, rose and white gold pendant with a water scene scene.  This antique pendant began as a single screw-back earring, and we transformed it into this beautiful pendant.  The pendant is hinged, with a large oval dangling beneath a curved gold piece decorated with a fringe of gold Bali beads.  The thick oval pendant is matte yellow gold with an elaborate nature scene in raised gold.

The water bird, possibly a crane, stands with one leg raised at the center of a pool of water.  Her body is made from raised rose gold. She raises her pointed, open beak up the sky, hoping to catch some passing flies.  Her legs and feathers are intricately textured. Long, curving cattails, lily pads and rushes provide a lovely background.  The water plants are made from raised yellow gold.  The bird stands in a pool of white gold water that is engraved with co-centric circles that ripple out from her skinny leg. 

The pendant has an attached bail to accommodate your chain.  This antique piece is unusual, intricate, and beautifully crafted!
