For sale is a 10k yellow-rose gold ring with a cameo carved from natural shell. This antique ring features an oval cameo featuring a raised Goddess portrayed in full-body profile. The graceful figure is draped in flowing robes that are carefully carved in the light colored shell. The cameo is bezel-set in a hand-crafted gold setting edged in milgrain (twisted rope design.) The frame is decorated with beads that surround the cameo in a halo like a sunburst or starburst. A few of the tiny beads are missing. The shoulders of the ring are carved with an intricate design featuring engraved starbursts and milgrain edging. The ring has a flat smooth band in back.
The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
