For sale is a pair of 14k yellow gold leverback earrings with rutilated quartz.  These are antique earrings, crafted during the Arts and Crafts era during the mid-19th century.  Each hand-crafted earring features a large polished quartz baton.  The quartz gems are translucent buttercup yellow with rutilations visible throughout the gemstone.  Each gemstone is set with a thick cap of gold, and held in place with curving solid 14k gold wires.   The earrings dangle from 14k leverbacks that fasten securely.  These hand-crafted, glowing earrings are versatile and one-of-a-kind.  They will look particularly elegant on blondes and lighter brunettes.

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
