14k Yellow Gold Fancy Watch Chain Necklace. Antique 15g + 20"

For sale is a 14k yellow gold watch chain necklace. Part of the Sea Green Mermaid Reimagined Vintage Collection, I added a lobster clasp to an antique watch chain to transform it into a necklace. It is highly unusual to find a heavy watch chain like this in 14k. The chain is a heavy "rolo" chain style; each link is slightly beveled. The chain has two sets of decorative gold beads in the front. These are what make the necklace beautiful, distinct, and unusual. The beads have a fleur de lis shape, wider on one end, narrower on the other. Each bead has a black enamel "x" design around the middle. Each pair of beads is connected by a gold ring at the center.

This chain can be worn alone as an elegant and unique statement necklace. It would also make an excellent chain to highlight a large pendant. The pendant would be framed beautifully by the decorative beads on each side. Please note: you will need a pendant with a large bail or an enhancer bail that opens and closes to accommodate the large gold beads on the necklace.

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
