12k Yellow Gold Victorian SNAKE Earrings. OMEGABACK

For sale is a pair of antique 12k yellow gold snake earrings.  These earrings are beautifully crafted antiques from the Victorian era (thus the odd 12k gold!). I had my jeweler convert these stunning earrings from clip-ons to omega backs. Each earring features a snake coiled in a figure eight-like knot.  Each snake rests her lovely head on a wide coil of her tail.  Each snake has glinting cherry red eyes and a tiny white stone gypsy-set at the top of her head.   

The body of each snake is decorated with raised gold in curving swirls and circles.  The earrings fasten with omega backs that snap crisply open and closed.  These beautifully made earrings are sturdy, solid and large at 3/4 inch and 7.8 grams.  Wear these sinuous chanteuses with you, wherever you go!

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
