14k Yellow Gold + Sterling Silver Cut-Out Rising Sun Sunburst Ring

This gorgeous artisan-crafted ring combines sterling silver and solid 14k yellow gold in a bold, beautifully simple image of the sun rising—or perhaps setting—over the horizon.

The front of the ring features a half-round silver sun surrounded by a dramatic halo of openwork rays. Alternating rays are topped with solid 14k yellow gold, creating a wonderful contrast between warm gold and cool silver. We especially love how the open spaces between the rays allow your skin to become part of the design.

This is a substantial, solid ring weighing almost 9 grams. It is quite wide across the front and tapers toward the back, but even there the band remains approximately 1/4 inch wide, giving the ring a sturdy feel all the way around.
