14k Gold Sparrow Bird Pendant w Gypsy-Set Diamond. Hope!

For sale is a 14k yellow gold swallow pendant with a gypsy-set diamond. Sparrows symbolize hope, freedom, and joy in many cultures. We had our jeweler transform this sweet sparrow from a pin to a pendant so it would be worn and enjoyed.

The sparrow is said to symbolize joy, hope and freedom, and this happy little bird really embodies all these concepts. She seems to soar so happily, with her neck extended and her head raised, her wings back as if in joyful mid-flight. Her head, front wing and tail feathers have a slightly pebbled texture, and the rest of her body is polished smooth.

The pendant has a large attached bail to accommodate your chain. You can see a solder mark on the back of the pendant where the pin was removed. This pendant is lovely on its own, and is also fun to layer with other small pendants. A wonderful reminder to never give up hope, even when times are tough!
