For sale is a large antique 14k yellow gold ring with inlaid Alaskan Gold-in-Quartz.  This is an unusually large and beautifully crafted gold quartz ring.  Gold-in-Quartz, also known as Gold Quartz or Gold bearing quartz, is a rare and sought-after gemstone for jewelry makers today.  It consists of white (or gray or black) quartz with veins of pure gold ore running through it.  This quartz is a creamy shade of white with bright burnished 24k gold ore forming elegant patterns on the the surface. 

The ring is a large rectangle with four inlaid triangular pieces of gold quartz. The ring has two bands of gold forming an "X" at the center, and the 4 gold quartz pieces are inlaid around it.  Each piece of gold quartz is carefully inlaid in the gold setting.  The quartz is completely backed in solid gold.  The shoulders of the ring are stepped, and are beautifully engraved.  The ring is beautiful on anyone, regardless of gender.


This well-crafted gold-in-quartz ring is not only beautiful, but is actually a wise investment that will only increase in value over time.
