For sale is a 14k yellow gold pendant of a pelican in flight. Part of the Sea Green Mermaid Reimagined Vintage Collection, we transformed a brooch into this pendant so it could be worn and enjoyed. Hand-crafted by an artisan, this pelican is large and beautifully rendered mid-flight. Awkward and ungainly on land, pelicans become graceful when in flight. Along with the seagull, no other bird is so closely associated with the ocean. This pelican is depicted in profile, facing left, with one wing facing down and the other extended over her head. Both wings have stunning detail and artistry. This pendant is like a small sculpture - a work of art that you can wear. The pendant has an attached bail to accommodate your chain.
