For sale is a 14k yellow gold pendant with a natural star sapphire.  This stunning Art Deco era pendant has so many beautiful details.  The star sapphire is an unusual shade of deep gray with blue-green overtones.  The star sapphire displays an exceptional twelve-ray star in the sunlight!  I have only seen six ray stars, and this special star is exciting to see. The sapphire is in excellent condition, and has tan natural inclusions near the edges in two places (see magnified photos.)  The sapphire is secure in a bezel setting, and is articulated so it can move freely inside the oval pendant that frames it.  The sapphire is backed in gold for added protection.  The oval frame has domed gold beads placed at the top, bottom and both sides, adding an elegant touch.  The pendant has a large articulated bail to accommodate your chain.  This is a well-crafted, elegant pendant with an unusual and high-quality natural star sapphire.
