14k Yellow Gold HAMSA w EVIL EYE Pendant on 23" Chain Necklace

For sale is a 14k yellow gold chain necklace with a gold hamsa symbol pendant in the middle of the chain.  This chain is simple and elegant.  The hamsa symbol has an elegant cut-out pattern with the symbol of the evil eye.  The hamsa is believed to protect the wearer from the evil eye.  The chain fastens with a spring ring clasp.  This necklace can be worn alone or layered with other chains and pendants.

**The back of the hand/hamsa symbol has a small area of silver-colored solder.  Please see magnified photos.  The front of the hand/hamsa symbol is clear of solder.

The hamsa is a palm-shaped amulet popular throughout the Middle East. Depicting the open right hand, an image recognized and used as a sign of protection in many times throughout history, the hamsa is believed by middle easterners, to provide defense against the evil eye. The hamsa holds recognition as a bearer of good fortune among Christians in the Middle East as well.
