One of the opals is crown-set inside a tiny gold star. So sweet! The other gemstones are secure in prong settings. The pendant is made of sterling silver with gold tone. The chain is 1/20 14k gold filled, which means that chain has a thick layer of gold atop a base metal. This pendant has a simple elegance that is en vogue at the moment.
