14k Gold Ethiopian Welo Jelly Opal Bead Necklace **VIDEO**

For sale is an Ethiopian Welo opal necklace with a 14k yellow gold clasp and 14k beads.  This glittering opal necklace is truly magical.  The graduated jelly opal beads are hand carved, each with interesting facets that are polished smooth.  The opals are translucent and sparkle with lovely purple, fuchsia, peacock blue, lime green and turquoise opalescence as you move the necklace in the sunlight.  This necklace is unusual because the traditional Welo opals are interspersed with blue Welo opals.  Ethiopian opals are "hydrophane," meaning they absorb liquids easily.  These opals have been tinted blue by soaking them in blue liquid.   The necklace has been hand-knotted between the larger opals.  Please view the video for the best idea of how this necklace dazzles.  The necklace clasps with a 14k gold filigree fish hook clasp.  You will feel like the queen of the fairy world when you put this dazzling necklace on.
