14k Yellow Gold Diamond & Green Enamel Flower Earrings. Leverbacks

For sale is a pair of 14k yellow gold flower earrings with diamonds and green enamel.  The famous technique of painting enamel over etched gold that is used for these vivid green earrings is called Guilloche. Guilloche jewelry was first seen during the 1700s, but was very popular during the Victorian era when these earrings were crafted. 

Each earring features a many petaled flower blossom with a small sparkly diamond prong set at its center.  Alternating flower petals are decorated with vibrant apple green Guilloche.  These antique earrings would be stunning with emerald or other gold or diamond jewelry.  Perfect for Irish ladies, or for you lucky green-eyed girls :)

***The earrings are dormeuse style leverbacks, which fasten by placing the earwire through the back of the ear, and fitting it into a small opening at the front of the ear.  This can be difficult for people with arthritis and other conditions!  I use a magnified mirror to put them in :)
