14k Yellow Gold Carved Jade Disk Pendant w a Snake Under a Tree

For sale is a carved jade pendant with a 14k yellow gold bail.  This is an unusual pendant that is carved to depict a snake coiled and hissing beneath a tree.  The pendant is carved onto a thick disk of dark green (spinach) jade.  The jade is "reverse carved," which means instead of carving the snake into the jade, the artist has carved the background, making the snake stand slightly above the background.  The jade around the snake has a lighter, white appearance making the snake design stand out.  The pendant has a 14k yellow gold bail to accommodate your chain.  What a sweet, unusual jade pendant!
