You simply don't find intricately carved filigree gold made with this level of skill and quality very often in modern jewelry. The sapphire is deep brown to black in color, and features a vibrant six-rayed star in the sunlight. The sapphire is bezel set in gold with a rose colored hue. The gemstone is framed in carved gold with an elaborate pattern of swirls and vines. The underside of the gallery is also carved with identical intricate designs. The ring has a simple flat polished band. This ring is large and lovely. The craftsmanship will take your breath away!
