For sale is a pair of 14k yellow gold Australian "floating opal" earrings. These are medium-sized earrings. Each earring features a large round glass globe that is filled with clear liquid (glycerine) and small pieces of natural Australian opal. The pieces of opal float freely in the liquid, creating a wonderful kaleidoscope display of colors and fire. These opals flash with cherry red, purple, tangerine, and lime. The opal globes are topped with filigree yellow gold caps. The earrings are suspended from 14k gold leverbacks. These earrings are eye-catching and colorful, with a wonderful old-world flair.
