For sale is a pair of 14k yellow gold earrings with Australian black opal triplet.  When well-crafted, triplet opals have a magic all their own.  The onyx backing darkens the color of the opal, and the clear quartz on top of the opal creates a "bubble" effect that exaggerates the opal's original fire and color.  These round "bubble" opals each dazzle with fire and color.  The opals' base color is dark blue, and each opal flashes cherry red, lime green, peacock blue and sky blue in the sunlight.  Each opal is secure in a bezel setting, and the onyx backing is visible from the back of the opal.  Each earring has a "14k" metal stamp on the back.  The earrings fasten with 14k butterfly backs.  These tiny earrings are simple and elegant worn alone, or would be fun to combine with additional earrings for those with multiple piercings.
