14k Yellow Gold Australian Andamooka Black Boulder Opal Pendant**VIDEO*

For sale is a 14k yellow gold pendant with an Australian Andamooka black boulder opal.  This type of opal, mined in the Andamooka opal fields in Australia, is considered the world's most stable opal.  The opal has dark black matrix that is embedded with firey opalescence throughout the stone.  The opal is subtle in dim light, but outrageously colorful and full of fire in sunlight or bright indoor light.  The opal flashes with cherry red, blue and purples at the top of the stone, and lime, blue and yellow towards the bottom of the stone.  The opal is a domed oval, and is secure in a hand-crafted bezel setting.  The opal has some surface scuffs and scratches towards the top of the pendant (see photos.) The flat side of the opal is visible from the back of the pendant, and is just as flashy and attractive as the front of the stone.  The pendant has an articulated bail to accommodate your chain.
