For sale is a beautifully crafted solid 14k yellow gold lion’s head pendant with wonderful dimension, detail and personality.

The lion has a broad, powerful face with a wide nose, strong brow and large curved ears emerging from his magnificent mane. His face projects boldly from the pendant, giving the piece a substantial three-dimensional, almost sculptural quality.

We especially love the detailing in his mane. Individual locks of fur have been carefully carved throughout, creating wonderful texture and depth. Even his tiny whiskers are visible along either side of his muzzle.

His mouth is slightly open as though he has been caught in the middle of a low growl or snarl, with his little lower teeth just visible. Combined with his heavy brow and direct gaze, he has a wonderfully fierce and regal expression.

The pendant is fitted with an attached 14k yellow gold rabbit-ear bail to accommodate your chain.
