For sale is a 14k yellow gold pendant with a large Alaskan Gold-in-Quartz gemstone.  Gold-in-Quartz, also known as Gold Quartz or Gold bearing quartz is a rare and sought-after gemstone for jewelry makers today.  It consists of white (or gray or black) quartz with veins of pure gold ore running through it.  The most valuable gems are those with white or cream quartz and lots of gold veins. 

This pendant features a rounded piece of gold quartz that is bezel set in gold and accented with swirling gold in a free-form design that forms a bail. The quartz is milky white with a burst of gleaming gold veins in the center. The quartz is visible from the back side of the pendant. This slide style pendant has large openings that will accommodate most chains.
