For sale is a 14k yellow gold pendant with Alaskan Gold-in-Quartz.  Gold-in-Quartz, also known as Gold Quartz or Gold bearing quartz is a rare and sought-after gemstone for jewelry makers today.  It consists of white (or gray or black) quartz with veins of pure gold ore running through it.  The most valuable gems are those with white or cream quartz and lots of gold veins.  This quartz is a creamy shade of white with bright burnished 24k gold veins covering 25-35% of the surface. The quartz is cut in a rectangle, and is beautifully inlaid in a hand-crafted rectangular setting.  The craftsmanship in this pendant is truly exceptional.  The gold quartz has a crack along the top right corner (see photos) but is secure in the setting.  The pendant is completely backed in solid gold, with an attached bail. The pendant could be worn beautifully by either a man or a woman.
