14k Yellow Gold & 925 Hearts Eternity Ring. Wide Eternity Band

This unusual and romantic mixed-metal ring pairs the warmth of solid 14k yellow gold with sterling silver in a wonderfully distinctive design.

The ring is constructed from a wide solid 14k yellow gold band soldered over a solid sterling silver band. A repeating pattern of cut-out hearts travels all the way around the gold band, giving this substantial ring a playful, romantic quality while allowing glimpses of the silver beneath.

The sterling silver creates a lovely contrast with the yellow gold. It is visible as a narrow border along the outer edges of the ring and more prominently from the interior. The combination gives the piece the appearance of two bands beautifully joined into one.

This is a wide, sturdy ring with plenty of presence on the hand, yet the open heart pattern keeps the design from feeling too heavy. It would be wonderful worn alone or incorporated into a collection of mixed-metal rings.

The ring has been well loved and shows numerous light scratches and scuffs consistent with wear. There is also a darker line across the gold at the back of the band, likely indicating that the ring was resized at some point in its history.
