14K Yellow Gold + 925 Graduated Panel Collar Necklace. 14k Trim & Chain

For sale is a 14k yellow gold and sterling silver graduated panel necklace.  This necklace features seven curved silver panels that are edged in a thick 2 mm band of gold. This necklace is not gold-filled or gold-plated; the gold parts of this necklace are solid bands of gold.  Each panel is connected to the next by two hand-crafted chain-link hinges.  The figaro chain on this necklace is  hand-crafted in solid gold.  The chain clasps with a hand-made hook-and-eye fastening.  Each silver panel is carved with a detailed organic pattern similar to tree-bark.  The back of each panel is flat and smoothed.  The necklace can be reversed and worn with the smooth side forward if preferred.  The gold trim is visible on both sides of the necklace.  This is a wonderfully crafted, one-of-a-kind necklace with a large amount of gold.  It makes a very large statement when worn due to its side and unusual beauty.
