14k Yellow Gold & 925 Australian Crystal Opal and Garnet Pendant**VIDEO**

For sale is a 14k yellow gold and sterling silver pendant with an Australian crystal opal and a rhodolite garnet.  This large, heavy pendant is unusual and colorful.  The pendant is crafted from sterling silver, with raised solid 14k yellow gold filigree accents.  The pendant has two parts that are connected by a hinged bail, allowing them to move freely.  The opal is a large oval that is bezel set in an east-west orientation.  The opal is semi-translucent with a base color that is pale blue.  In dim light the opal is subtle, but in sunlight it dazzles with lime green, teal, peacock blue and occasional flashes of purple fire.  The top of the pendant features a rhodolite garnet in a juicy shade of transparent raspberry red. The garnet is also securely bezel set. The sterling silver pendant is accented with raised 14k yellow gold "S"-curve decorations on both sides of the opal and garnet.  The yellow gold adds an extra level of richness, and feeling of luxury, to this already gemmy, glamorous pendant.  This slide-style pendant has a bail hidden behind the garnet.  This pendant would look stunning on a silver or gold omega chain or snake chain.
