14k Yellow Gold 3 Ct. Lavender-Blue Star Sapphire Deco Ring. Ruby Diamond--K2L29

For sale is a 14k yellow gold ring with a cabochon natural lavender blue star sapphire and rubies.  This ring is a well-crafted and well-maintained antique from the Art Deco era. This ring features a star sapphire that is an unusual, creamy shade of lavender.  Lavender star sapphires are technically blue sapphires.  This one displays a full six rayed star in bright light, and a glowing asterism in normal light.  The stone is a beautiful glowing lavender color in dim light.  The sapphire has inclusions, including some natural brown inclusions within the stone.  The sapphire is secure in a bezel-setting, completely framed in yellow gold.  The sapphire is framed above and below with vivid dark cherry pink natural rubies.  The rubies are secure in prong settings.  The sapphire is also accented by small round diamonds on the upper right and lower left.  The diamonds are sparkly and eye-clear with no yellow tint.  They are securely prong-set in white gold to augment their brilliance.  

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
