14k White Gold Cameo Nude Nymph Dancer Filigree Ring. 1" Marquise

For sale is a 14k white gold marquise-shaped cameo ring with a nymph posing on pointed toes. This beautifully hand-carved pendant in natural shell is quite unusual. Unusual in part because most cameos are 10k, but also because cameos usually feature a bust rather than the entire body. The cameo is bezel set in a lovely engraved white gold frame, and shows the figure of a graceful woman with lovely features. The shoulders of the ring are elaborately filigreed, almost like a spiderweb or filament. The ring narrows to a thin band in back, common in Victorian times. This beautifully crafted, antique cameo pendant is large and makes a big statement on the hand.

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
