For sale is a 14k white gold pendant with an ammolite stone. The ammolite has exceptional fire. It flashes with a rainbow of colors as you move it in the light. The primary colors are orange, red, yellow and green. The stone is marquis shaped. It is bezel-set, completely framed in a thick band of gold. This type of setting provides the best protection against damage and accidental loss. The pendant has a large bail to accommodate your chain. Like all ammolite jewelry, this fossil is backed with a piece of onyx for protection.
Ammolite is a fascinating gemstone, made from the fossilized bodies of "ammonites", sea creatures that lived in the oceans from 65-240 million years ago. These fossils are found in the Rocky Mountains of North America. When you wear an ammolite you are truly wearing a piece of natural history!
The pendant has no damage and shows normal wear (light scratches and scuff marks.)
