14k Gold UNCLE SAM Pendant. Red White Blue Enamel. 1930s Charm

For sale is a 14k yellow gold enamel pendant featuring Uncle Sam. This rare and delightful vintage charm captures the cheerful patriotic spirit of an earlier America with wonderful whimsy and color.

Rendered in vibrant enamel, Uncle Sam strides forward energetically with exaggerated long legs and pointed black shoes, as though marching optimistically into the future. He wears bold red and white striped trousers beneath a vivid cobalt blue coat with flying tails, while his matching blue top hat is accented with a jaunty red ribbon.

His rosy pink face and hands, bright white beard, and animated pose give the little figure tremendous personality despite his tiny size. The charm is beautifully detailed from both sides, making it lovely to wear as it turns and moves.

The front enamel remains in excellent condition with crisp, vivid color and virtually no wear. The reverse side shows some enamel wear to Uncle Sam’s striped trousers, consistent with age and use.

The pendant is double sided and suspended from a jump ring bail ready to wear on your favorite chain or charm bracelet.
