For sale is a 10k yellow gold and sterling silver pendant representing a tree full of birds with wolves beneath it.  This beautifully made pendant is stamped Totzil, an indigenous Maya people in Mexico.

The pendant is a beautifully hand-cut silver tree with gold birds at the end of each branch and 2 gold wolves standing guard at the base of the tree. The pendant is large and sturdy, and has a large bail to accommodate your chain. This lovely, large pendant can be worn on any of your gold or silver chains.

The Tzotzil are an indigenous Maya people of the central highlands of Chiapas ,Mexico. As of 2000, they numbered about 298,000. The word tzotzil originally meant "bat people" or "people of the bat" in the Tzotzil language (from sotz' "bat").

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
