For sale is a large solid 14k yellow gold and silver mandala-style filigree pendant set with nine auspicious gemstones in the classic Navaratna (or Navratna) design. 

Navaratna means "nine gems" in Sanskrit, referring to a traditional combination of nine precious stones associated with the nine celestial bodies of Vedic astrology, or Navagrahas. 

Worn in jewelry, Navaratna symbolizes wealth and status and is believed to bring balance, well-being, and harmony by balancing the energies of the planets for the wearer.

This pendant is a beautiful variation on the traditional nine-gem composition, slightly domed with a star-like mandala pattern and a hidden gold bail wide enough to accommodate a range of chains. Both sides of the pendant are set with natural gemstones. The eight outer stones are all bezel set in gold. The large hand-cut diamonds on the back are bezel set in silver.
