For sale is a 14k yellow gold and sterling silver "moon phases" pendant. This hand-crafted pendant features a large, flat disk of sterling silver suspended from a large silver bail.  The lower part of the disk is set with sterling silver and 14k yellow gold disks that are layered.  The disks are graduated in size, and have been layered to create a full moon and crescent moons of alternating metals.  The effect is wonderful, like phases of the moon. The pendant is large and heavy, and looks wonderful worn at the neckline, or on a longer chain like a medallion.  The pendant is artisan crafted and unusual.  It has a wonderful, simplicity that is pleasing to the eye.  It would be attractive worn by a man or a woman.

**The pendant is hand-crafted and has some visible solder marks where the 14k gold is layered on the silver.  The pendant has normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
