Crafted in solid 14k yellow gold, each earring is formed as a softly scalloped circular panel reminiscent of a floating lily pad or rippling pool of water. This style of craftsmanship is called repousse, and is created by hammering the pattern from the reverse side. Emerging from the surface is a beautifully sculpted maiden with flowing hair crowned in a floral garland, rendered in the dreamy naturalistic style so beloved during the Art Nouveau era.
