18k Gold Repousse JOAN OF ARC Locket Pendant. 1.4" + 7g *Video*

For sale is a 18k yellow gold repousse Joan of Arc locket pendant.  This is a stunning example of Art Nouveau design.  The image of the famous patron saint of France is rendered with amazing skill and detail. The warrior is represented in profile, from her head down to her waist.  Her armor, helmet, and flowing long hair is elaborately depicted in raised gold.  She holds the hilt of her sword up to her chin with both hands as she gazes up in reverence. 

The French translation of her name, "Jeanne D'Arc," curves around the edge of the locket in raised gold letters.  The locket is also decorated with two small fleur de lis in raised gold.  The locket opens properly and clicks securely closed.  The locket has an articulated bail to accommodate your chain.  Fans of the famous French saint and all Francophiles will be delighted with this unusual, large, rarely seen antique locket.
