14k Gold Popeye + Olive Oil Pendants. 2 Figures

For sale is a 14k yellow gold pendant with two of America's favorite sweethearts: Popeye and Olive Oil. These on-again, off-again lovers dangle from a single bail, allowing them to come together and apart. Each figure is made from a flat piece of gold that is stamped with his or her features. 

Popeye wears his iconic sailor's cap, smokes his cigar, and flexes while holding a can of strengthening spinach. Tall, thin Olive Oil sports her her high-waisted skirt and wears her hair in her classic bun at the nape of her neck. The pendants hang next to each other from a single 14k spring ring clasp.

I have added a second 14k spring clasp as a bail to accommodate your chain. Each figure has a round bail attached to the back of their head. The back of each figure has some darkened patina, possibly where the bails were soldered by the original owner.  This rare, romantic pendant is quite unusual and will be lots of fun to wear.
