For sale is a 14k yellow gold necklace with faceted natural rubies and sapphires in a range of colors.  This stunning antique necklace features graduated hand-cut rubies + sapphires and yellow gold beads.  Sapphires with red and purple shades are also known as rubies!  The sapphires are opaque, and are beautifully faceted.  The necklace features blue, red, purple, pink, gray and white sapphires.  The natural, untreated sapphires range in size from 15mm (over 1/2 inch) down to 5mm.  The necklace fastens with a sturdy and secure 14k lobster clasp.  This is a heavy gemstone necklace that feels wonderful to wear.  Each faceted sapphire is lovely and cool to the touch, as only earth-mined gemstones are.  These classic antique sapphires will add elegance and style during festive occasions and events.
