For sale is a striking 14k yellow gold modernist ring with a natural blue sapphire. This heavy ring is hand-crafted and one of a kind with a sculptural, designer look. The ring is an open circle that widens out to a half inch rectangle of gold at one end and a smaller round blue sapphire at the other end.

The ring is not actually an open circle, because both ends are attached by a hidden narrow band of gold. The sapphire is a lovely shade of azure blue that appears dark in dim light and flashes with ceylon translucence in brighter light. The sapphire is secure in a bezel setting. 

This striking and unusual ring would make a stunning engagement ring, and can also be worn as an elegant, one of a kind right hand ring.
