For sale is a 14k yellow gold pendant of a striking mermaid with an articulated tail. I have sold dozens of articulated gold mermaid pendants and this one is quite unusual.  The mermaid is not the serene Art deco goddess with classical features and refined good looks.  No indeed, this mermaid is mature, and has a bit of an attitude.  She stares brazenly at her audience, her arms above her head in a confident, unashamed pose.  Her body is voluptuous and she's quite clearly both proud and comfortable with her nakedness.

The mermaid's human body turns to fish scales at her waist, where she is jointed, allowing her tail to swish forward and backward. Her arch facial expression, flowing hair, and scaled tail are crafted in loving detail.
