14k Gold Inlaid Black Shell MERMAID's HEART Pendant *Video*

For sale is a  14k yellow gold "Mermaid's heart" pendant with inlaid natural Tahitian black mother of pearl MOP.  Mother of pearl is often called abalone, and is made from polished natural seashell.  This beautifully crafted pendant is a puffy heart with inlaid black seashell pieces shaped like the scales of a mermaid's tail. 

Each piece of mother of pearl is deep black with rainbow iridescence.  Each scale-shaped gem shimmers with rainbow colors as the pendant moves in the light.  In dim light the pendant appears metallic black, and in brighter light it reflects green, purple, blue, and all the colors of the rainbow.  The heart is backed in gold with an intricate filigree design.   

The pendant has an articulated bail to accommodate your chain.  This pendant is magical, a true mermaid's heart, with ever-shifting colors and iridescence.

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
